I paid $89.00 for my bent bolt from Accumounts, and it is a nice piece of workmanship. Tehy dont seem to last very long before they actually end up having to be welded. In the back of my mind, I am looking forward to getting a buck this year and seeing the look on my friends faces when thye find out I ytook it w/ my "old rifle"! Word of caution, I have read numerous reports of problems w/ the "Bent Bolt kits" that you see on E-Bay. I know the money invested seems like overkill given the age of this rifle. I am hoping to hunt with this rifle this year. It was worth it though, he did a great job, better than I ever could have done. Funny, I paid 3 times more for these mods then I did the rifle! Didn't include the variable power scope (bought an inexpensive one off E-Bay), shoulder pad and the $130.00 to the gunsmith to mount the mount. This is the one I got and it greatly increases your scope options. The scope mount is a reproduction of the original PU setup, but they have one model modified to take 1' scopes. The suppressor was more for looks, but is supposed to help w/ recoil a bit. Since then I have purchased a reproduction PU scope mount & a "Bent-Bolt" from Accumounts ( ), as well as a flash suppressor.
